The Ministry of Justice has continued to run a registration process for potential Tier II and Tier III suppliers, removing the initial deadline of the end of March.

It has been advised that this is to give Tier I providers visibility of the range and diversity of the potential supply chain of Tier II and Tier III providers.

The intention is to create a database of Tier II and Tier III potential providers setting out the services they provide and the geographical spread of those services. This data will be shared with Tier I potential providers following the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) phase of their bid to run the Community Rehabilitation Companies (CRCs).

Tier II and Tier III potential providers are to form part of the supply chain via subcontracts for the services under the Rehabilitation Programme contracts (Tier II) or through the award of grant-funding arrangements (Tier III), both with Tier I providers. They are asked to register with the Ministry of Justice by emailing, following which they will be sent instructions and a registration form to complete.
