Are you looking for a new Substance Misuse Nurse role?

Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Substance Misuse Nurse to fill a role within in Bexley. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.

The pay rate for this locum Substance Misuse job is £23.38 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract. In this role you will be required to work 4 days a week working 9am-5pm and 11:30am - 7:30pm every Wednesday.

Duties:
- To provide a range of treatment, interventions and support for people with substance misuse problems
- To hold and be responsible for a defined caseload of clients some of whom may be complex (operate as a keyworker and provide specific 1:1 work)
- To facilitate group work
- To deliver harm reduction advice and information to clients.
- To complete BBV work including testing and vaccination.
- To work in accordance with the recovery agenda.

Requirements of the Substance Misuse Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in nursing
- Current NMC registration (RGN/RMN)
- Significant experience as a Substance Misuse Nurse
