Are you a highly motivate practitioner with substantial experience of working with vulnerable children or adolescence?

Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for a band 7 practitioner to work in Bromley.

The pay rate for this role is £28 (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract

This role involves early identification and diverting young people away from the criminal justice system where appropriate. This will be undertaken with young people, in the police station at times. The service will assist and support young people in accessing suitable health provision, in the community or in custody. Also, to reduce the risks of offending by providing diversionary packages for young people which address their specific needs and risks to enable them to get the support they need.

You will be responsible for the coordinating and leading the project for young people a risk of repeat offending. This is a new service that supports those young people their parents and family members to improve overall functioning aimed at addressing anti-social behaviour widening the options for positive engagement with other resources available at the YOS or the local community.

You will be part of a small team of health professionals within the youth offending service.

Requirements of the practitioner:
- Valid NMC registration under mental health
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable
- Substance experience of working with vulnerable children or adolescence
- Relevant qualification in mental health nursing, clinical or forensic psychology, family or occupational therapies
