Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated criminal justice liaison and diversion nurse to fill a full-time role within in Brent. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.

The pay rate for this locum nurse job is £23.38 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 6-month contract.

The post holder will work under the remit of the Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion Services providing a proactive assessment, liaison and diversion service in all Police Custody Suites and Magistrates' Courts in the area.

The post holder will be part of an established liaison and diversion service and work in partnership with health, social services and the criminal justice system, to ensure that individuals presenting with mental health problems in have their needs addressed and be diverted into appropriate health care services as necessary

Requirements of the nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in nursing
- Current NMC registration (RGN/RMN)
- Significant experience as a prison substance misuse nurse
- MET clearance is desirable
