Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for experienced and dedicated drug and alcohol service manager to work full time in Salford. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of substance misuse.

This is a fixed term contract paying £30,000 per annum

Responsibilities of the drug and alcohol service manager:
- To manage the care & safety of service users and staff
- To manage the health & safety & security of residential & community services
- To be responsible for medication management
- To be responsible for the financial management of residential services
- To promote an environment conducive to a high standard of assessment, care and rehabilitation in which service users can work towards maintaining their independence so that they can return to independent living

Requirements of the drug and alcohol service manager:
- Recent experience working directly with substance misuse clients
- Leadership/ management experience of working with drug & alcohol users
- Evidence of managing service delivery
- Experience of performance management and risk assessment
- An ability to lead a team and ability to demonstrate this
- An ability to implement change
- An ability to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory requirements
- An ability to develop productive working relationships between workers, the local community and other agencies
- Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual
- An ability to write reports
- An ability to manage & monitor a workforce
- An ability to meet targets and work under pressure
- Medication Management ability
