    Description

    Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated prison drug and alcohol practitioner to fill a full-time role in Hammersmith and Fulham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of substance misuse.

    The starting pay rate for this locum prison drug and alcohol practitioner job is £15 - £17 per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

    integrated healthcare framework to provide support to drug and alcohol users aged 18 and over (dependent on service). Services are designed to deliver Psychosocial Drug and Alcohol Interventions and for offenders coming into prison that are identified as having an Alcohol or drug problem.

    1-1 key working
    - Group facilitation
    - Managing a case-load
    - Provide appropriate harm reduction advice and guidance

    Requirements of the prison drug and alcohol worker:
    - Must have prison clearance
    - Experience working with substance misuse patients in a psychosocial setting.
