Are you looking for a new prison nurse role?

Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated primary care nurse to work in a prison in Norwich. This is a permanent vacancy.

You will be working within the multidisciplinary team, contributing to team management and the development of innovative practice.

This role offers a salary of £28,000- £32,000 per annum.

Responsibilities of the primary care nurse:
- To work as part of a team undertaking lead responsibilities as negotiated and agreed with Healthcare management.
- Undertake all aspects of medicines management related activities in accordance with the organisation's medicines policy to ensure the safe, legal and appropriate use of medicines. Attend appropriate training and maintain competencies in all relevant areas
- To treat all prisoners/patients as individuals, respecting their privacy and dignity always.
- To assess individual care needs, implement and evaluate holistic programmes of care.
- To take every opportunity to promote the health and wellbeing of the patient.

Requirements of the primary care nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in nursing
- Current NMC registration (RGN/RMN)
- Significant experience as a prison nurse
