Probation Officer - Ipswich

We have an excellent new role on offer in the East of England looking for a Probation Officer to join our team and to work for Sanctuary Criminal Justice.

We require one of the following qualifications to be a probation officer:
- Diploma in Probation Studies
- PQUIP qualification
- CQSW qualification
- Diploma in Social Work or equivalent qualification

We offer a pay of £27 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent), and this job is an initial 3-month contract.

Another responsibility as a probation officer will be working closely with other organisations and a range of specialist agencies. This will also include identifying when a situation is likely to result in serious harm so you must carefully manage different risks.

Your role will include careful management of risk and determining whether this has risen to the point where serious harm is likely, liaising with the National Probation Service and a range of specialist agencies and contributing to the development of practice for the future.

You must be committed, motivated, and enthusiastic about this role. As a probation officer, Sanctuary Criminal Justice are looking for someone with communication and organisational skills, with the ability to resolve complex problems.
