    Description

    Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Practitioner to fill a full-time role in the Youth Justice Service based in Haringey. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Youth Offending.

    The pay rate for this locum Senior Practitioner job is £32 - £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Responsibilities of the Senior Practitioner:
    - You will join the Youth Justice Service working alongside a motivated and supportive team, providing effective interventions that produce positive outcomes for young people, families and communities.
    - You will be required to perform the full range of youth justice roles including case management, court work and report writing. As part of a multi-agency team you will be provided with professional supervision and support as well as being expected to share your expertise with colleagues from a range of disciplines.
    - This post will specifically focus on the implementation and delivery of the out of court disposals.
    - The candidate will be expected to co-ordinate and co-chair the out of court disposal panels on a weekly basis and be able to quality assure asset plus assessments.

    Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
    - Significant experience within Youth Offending
    - 1 Year experience as a Case Manager in a youth offending service.
    - Must have ASSETPLUS experience.
    - Basic knowledge of risk factors associated with youth crime in order to address the offending behaviour of first time and low risk young offenders.
    - Experience of performing basic case management tasks including assessment, intervention planning, intervention delivery and associated case management recording.
    - Enhanced DBS Check.
