    Description

    Sanctuary Criminal Justice has a job vacancy for a Social Worker within a Youth Justice Team based in Bedford.

    The pay rate for this locum youth justice social worker job is £28 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Responsibilities of the Youth Justice Social Worker:
    - Work as part of a multi-agency Youth Offending Service to prevent offending by young people
    - Deliver a professional social work service to designated service use
    - Provide services as required by the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and other relevant legislation
    - Focus on the provision of bail supervision and remand services

    To be considered for this role you must be a qualified social worker with HCPC registration and strong court and assessment skills.

    You must also have experience of working with children, young people and families in a relevant setting such as YOS, Family and/or Adolescent Support, Intake and Assessment, Parenting Team, including the ability to engage with service users who are challenging, complex and chaotic

    This role requires travel so you must be a car driver with access to your own vehicle.
