Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for a Substance Misuse Outreach Recovery Worker to work in Redbridge. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of substance misuse.

The pay rate for this locum Substance Misuse Outreach Recovery Worker job is £16 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

- Working to support street drinkers
- To outreach, engage and undertake assessments of street dwelling populations and support them into mainstream treatment services if required
- To safely reduce harm among street cohorts, though a combination of harm minimisation, brief advice and intervention, motivational interviewing and referral and signposting
- To provide care coordination in conjunction with partner agencies for street drinkers whom are resident or rough sleeping in Redbridge
- Participating in multiagency meeting and joint operation, including seeking out opportunities and networking wherever possible
- Gathering local intelligence
- Maintaining the safety of you and those you support

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
