Substance Misuse Service Manager

Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated substance misuse service manager to work in Milton Keynes in a permanent position.

The salary for this job is £36,683 - £45,000 per annum.

The Service Manager will take the lead on fulfilling all operational requirements for delivering the Milton Keynes adult and YP service and implementing the service development plan, ensuring a balance of attention between contract management, staff management, clinical governance and budgetary controls. The service manager will lead a team of team leaders, clinical staff including nurses, NMP's and doctors and recovery/link workers.

- To work closely and proactively with the management and staff team to ensure adherence to all relevant Health & Safety Polices and ensure that risk is managed appropriately within the service. "
- To provide risk management and decision making regarding the management of unplanned patient clinical need. "
- To provide advice and support to staff members regarding prescribing and clinical interventions. "
- To attend and participate in Multi-disciplinary team meetings and training sessions as required. "

Requirements of the service manager:
- Been a manager within the substance misuse field for at least 2 years
- Had experience as a CQC registered manager
- Representing the organisation at multi-disciplinary forums
- Up to date DBS
