Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for experienced and dedicated substance misuse service manager to work 35 hours a week in Barnet. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of substance misuse.

The pay rate for this locum drug and alcohol service manager job is £30-£35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 2-3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the substance misuse service manager:
- Establish local strategies to create a shared vision of services within the Borough, working closely with PHE commissioners and other treatment partners
- Build and maintain effective professional relationships with PHE and other commissioners, Directors of Public Health and other key stakeholders
- Evidence the ability to work autonomously and respond flexibly in a rapidly evolving environment
- Identify and develop opportunities for new services and show continual service improvement
- Ensure all interventions are delivered in line with contractual and service level agreements
- Responsible for health and safety, including fire safety, within the service
- Adhere to and ensure implementation of HR policies and legislation
- Responsible for adherence to local and organisational safeguarding policies and procedures and regular review of these

Requirements of the substance misuse service manager:
- Recent management experience working directly with substance misuse clients
- Leadership/ management experience of working with drug & alcohol users
- Evidence of managing service delivery
- Experience of performance management and risk assessment
