Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for treatment practitioners to work in Lambeth on a full/part-time basis. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of substance misuse.

The pay rate for these locum treatment practitioner jobs is £14 - £17 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour (depending on experience) and are initial 2-3-month contracts.

Responsibilities of the treatment practitioners
- Provide advice, screening, brief and comprehensive assessments with individual , familis or couples
- Provide brief and longer-term structured interventions
- Develop a care plan and ensure it is implemented and reviewed with the client(s) and monitor outcomes
- Provide case management and ensure integrated pathways
- Provide advice and structured support for affected others
- Provide group programmes and support groups
- Maintain written records and data in a timely manner
- Liaise with agencies, professionals and groups as necessary
- Participate in service promotion and information events
- Work effectively and positively as a team member

Requirements of the treatment practitioners:
- Professional qualification in health/social/youth and community care, e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DIP SW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction studies or demonstrate experience of working in the field of addiction with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care
- previous experience with addictions, specifically gambling
