Sanctuary Criminal Justice has a job vacancy for a Youth Justice Team Leader to cover maternity leave in Hackney

The pay rate for this locum youth justice social worker job is £35.54 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 9-month contract.
The Youth Justice Service is a multi-agency, multi-professional team with statutory responsibilities for young people who are at risk of/or have offended. The service is part of broader Children & Family Services delivering assessments and interventions to children, young people and their families across the borough.

Responsibilities of the Youth Justice Team Leader:
- To prevent young people from becoming involved in crime
- Provide leadership and management to staff within the Youth Offending Team ensuring high quality reporting and services are provided to young people and their families in the delivery of Youth Justice Interventions, court and custody processes
- Committed to reducing youth crime and improving community safety
- Ensuring the service is delivered in partnership with other youth provision and provides advice and consultation, as appropriate, to partner agencies working with young people who have offended
