Social Worker - Youth Offending Team

Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work in the Youth Offending Team, undertaking case management across Redbridge.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £31.45 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.

The post holder will be required to carry out assessments, prepare reports and manage all appropriate orders made by the Courts ensuring interventions appropriately address both public protection and safeguarding using the Redbridge policies and procedures to assist you.

You will have an ability to interpret legislation and translate into practice, in addition to having an up-to-date knowledge of childcare & young justice legislation, (particularly the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, Powers of Criminal Courts [Sentencing] Act 2000, Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001, Criminal Justice Act 2003).

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- current HCPC registration
- Qualified experience within youth offending
- Experience of Youth Offending Service work
