Social Worker - Youth Offending Team

Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work in the Youth Offending Team in Redbridge.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £31.45 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is a 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the social worker:
- Carry out assessments, prepare reports and manager all appropriate orders made by the courts ensuring interventions appropriately address both public protection and safeguarding
- Working in partnership with colleagues from other agencies, outside the YOTPS and those seconded into the service in order to plan and deliver services aimed at reducing and preventing youth crime
- Maintain up-to-date records in line with national standards; knowledge of both court work and case management and the ability to work well under your own initiative and as part of a multi-agency service

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- current HCPC registration
- Qualified experience within youth offending
- Experience of Youth Offending Service work
