    Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work in the Youth Offending Team in St Albans.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £28 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is a 3-month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Support children and young people in achieving positive outcomes, to prevent family breakdown and escalation into specialist services and prepare them for successful adult life
    - Develop personalised interventions for children and young people who are unlikely to achieve or maintain, or have the opportunity of achieving or maintaining a reasonable standard of health or development or make a successful transition to adult life

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Youth justice experience
    - Leaving care experience
    -Must be able to manage complex caseloads
    - Ability to manage risk and safeguarding of young people
    - Able to work under pressure
    - Excellent communication skills
    - Flexible
    - Good IT skills
    - Must be a car driver
