Home > New NHS staffing agreement
Your choice of agency has never been so important
From 19 October 2015, all agency staff employed by NHS trusts in England
must be hired via an
NHS approved national framework.
So what does this mean for you?
If you are working for another agency
- They may not be able to supply through the correct framework (only a small percentage of agencies are approved suppliers)
- Your placement may be at risk if you are not supplied through a framework
- Your rate could potentially be reduced
If you are thinking of working locum
- The new rules shouldn’t stop you
- In fact, they provide more security if you are with the right agency
- Choose your agency carefully; make sure they are approved to supply to the NHS trusts you would like to work for
If you are working for Sanctuary
- Don’t worry – we are an NHS framework supplier
- We are already actively supplying allied health and HSS professionals as well as nurses through these frameworks in most trusts
- You can relax in your current role and know that we can supply in the future
